About me:
I started practising yoga in 2004 in preparation for the birth of my first child. I enjoyed it and found it so beneficial that I trained and qualified as a Baby Yoga and Massage instructor shortly afterwards. Over the following 13 years I continued to practise yoga and teach yoga to mums and babies, toddlers and children. In addition to offering yoga classes in my local area, I also tutor Birthlight's Baby Yoga Diploma course, Birthlight's Integrated Nurturing Massage and Yoga Course and Birthlight's Toddler Yoga course. In 2015 I had the opportunity to train with the Independent Yoga Network and become a yoga instructor. I am now able to teach yoga to everyone from the tiniest babies to people in their later years of life.
​
Yoga is one of the places where I find my quiet space; where I can focus on my body and my mind. Yoga helps me to balance the busy-ness of my life with moments of stillness, awareness and calm.
​
The yoga I teach is soft not sweaty. It is not competitive, instead it is focused on our own bodies; listening to what our bodies tell us is comfortable, beneficial and positive. My yoga encourages our bodies to move without stress or strain whilst allowing our minds the space to feel calm and refreshed.
​
I believe that yoga is for everyone regardless of age, gender, size or ability.

QUIET SPACE YOGA CLASSES
Classes are live with an online option where possible for those who prefer to practice at home.

Please bring a mat, a blanket and a cushion to each class. If you have a bolster, a block or a strap these are great too!
​

SLOW FLOW YOGA
Soft flowing movements and postures to ease out tension, encourage flexibility and promote ease and calm at the end of the day. Online option available.
Suitable for all with options using props and chairs for those less mobile. Everyone is welcome from beginners, to those who like a gentle flowing practice.

GENTLE YOGA FOR WOMEN
Stretch and release with this gentle class aimed at women
Suitable for all women, this class uses the mat, the wall, chairs, bolsters and blocks to provide women the opportunity to practise yoga together safely and effectively.

REST AND RESTORE YOGA
Relaxed class to recharge tired bodies and minds
Relax and unwind in this gentle restorative session. Suitable for all, this class includes gentle floor based postures and movements to release tension and some traditional restorative postures to completely relax tired bodies and minds! We use bolsters, cushions and blocks to support our bodies and blankets to stay warm and cosy. Also included, lovely head and shoulder massage!

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Thank you for booking with Quiet Space Yoga. Please remember that I am a very small business and whilst I try to keep everyone happy all the time, I do have a few gentle terms and conditions...
The full amount is payable at the time of booking. If you are unable to attend your class, no refunds are offered. 'On the day' cancellations cannot be carried over.
Where appropriate an alternative class will be offered but 'carry overs' remain at the discretion of Quiet Space Yoga. When a class is carried over to another date, this is only available once.

For those using the drop in cash option for yoga classes, please check the class is taking place that day as your details will not be available should a last minute cancellation occur.
​
Where a course of classes has been booked there is no automatic right to a refund if you cancel your course less than 14 days before the start of the course. Should you wish to cancel up to 14 days before the course, a refund will be offered minus a £5 booking fee. ​
Please check the dates of the course carefully before booking and making payment.
