QUIET SPACE YOGA

Yoga to nurture and nourish body and mind.

I started practising yoga in 2004 in preparation for the birth of my first child. I enjoyed it and found it so beneficial that I trained and qualified as a Baby Yoga and Massage instructor shortly afterwards. Over the following 13 years I continued to practise yoga and teach yoga to mums and babies, toddlers and children.

In 2015 I had the opportunity to train with the Independent Yoga Network and become a yoga instructor. I am now able to teach yoga to everyone from the tiniest babies to people in their later years of life.

 Yoga is  one of the places where I find my quiet space; where I can focus on my body and my mind. Yoga helps me to balance the busy-ness of my life with  moments of stillness, awareness and calm.

The yoga I teach is soft not sweaty. It is not competitive, instead it is focused on our own bodies; listening to what our bodies tell us is comfortable, beneficial and positive. My yoga encourages our bodies to move without stress or strain whilst allowing our minds the space to feel calm and refreshed.

I believe that yoga is for everyone regardless of age, gender, size or ability.

 

Please bring a mat and a blanket. There are some spare mats to borrow but contact me in advance to reserve one.

QUIET SPACE YOGA CLASSES

Since March 2020 classes have been taught online.

We are slowly resuming live classes and hope to be up and running with options for live and online sessions by the 17th of May 2021, following Covid 19 guidelines.

All face to face classes will need to be booked in advance as spaces will be limited to allow for 2m distance between each mat.

Please note that Quiet Space Yoga will no longer be able to supply any equipment. So please bring your OWN MAT, BLANKET AND CUSHION OR BLOCK.

SLOW FLOW YOGA

This is an evening class aimed at those who are able to move freely up and down from the floor and from one posture to another.

Beginners welcome.

TUESDAYS 7.00-8.00 pm Bradfield St George Village Hall

AFTERNOON CHILL YOGA

A relaxed afternoon class, aimed at encouraging tired bodies to settle and busy minds to unwind.

GENTLE YOGA

An afternoon class, aimed at those with more limited mobility but suitable for everyone who enjoys a quieter, more gentle class.

Fridays 1.45pm – 2.45pm  Pakenham Village Hall.
